Left in place, this dust and debris not only makes it hard to view the detector and LED, it can also lead to a fan fault or IR sensor reading error. Whilst it is often possible to clear these faults should they arise, as with any test tool, it is always good to take preventative action to avoid unnecessary downtime and maintain the life of your Testifire.
