Testifire training with Sanctuary Housing

Testifire training with Sanctuary Housing 780 488 Detector Testers

Following the success of our webinar programme over the last year, we’ve been pleased to recently start work with Sanctuary Housing delivering CPD webinar based training covering best practice and the use of our Testifire product range.

Sanctuary Housing is one of the UK’s leading social landlords, with over 50 years’ experience and more than 69,000 affordable homes across England.

Sanctuary recognises that those carrying out the testing and maintenance of fire detection systems need to be regularly trained and suitably informed on the latest codes, standards and industry insights.  To support this it embraces CPD and makes a generous allocation of CPD for each engineer every year.  Being CPD certified our training was identified as a perfect fit for Sanctuary and its team of engineers – with 48 engineers already having attended and a further 30 attending a session in the coming weeks.

The training, built around our popular ‘Testing and Maintenance of Fire Detection Systems’ webinar, covers a broad range of topics all related to best practice including; codes and standards, competency and responsibility and false alarm management.  On top of this, there is plenty of content covering the use of Testifire – including tips and tricks to ensure optimum use.

After the initial sessions, Paul Merrifield, Senior Learning and Development Partner at Sanctuary, commented:

thanks for the session today, I found it to be very interesting indeed and of high quality in both content and delivery.  It was great that so many staff attended and I am sure the session will invoke much thought and promote positive procedures.

The flexibility Testfire offers as an all-in-one tester means their engineers always have a suitable tester to hand – regardless of the detector type, the webinar sessions are a great way to share usage tips and ensure optimum use of the features Testifire offers.  With further sessions planned for the coming months, we are very much looking forward to continuing our relationship with Sanctuary by providing training and solutions to help keep its residents safe.

More details on the webinars we have available can be found on the training section of our website, alternatively if you are interested in running a customised session for your team please get in touch to discuss the options.
