Testifire: how important is an all-in-one tester?

With usage and sales increasing year-on-year, Testifire offers a number of benefits compared to the more traditional aerosol dispenser based tester from our market leading Solo range.

So, what are the main reasons people around the world are turning to Testifire?

The number one reason, taking 87% of the vote, was the fact that Testifire is an all-in-one tool.  This is perhaps no surprise given the increasing number of heat detectors and multi-sensors now installed on site which require testing.

Without Testifire, testing these devices requires the carrying of multiple tools around site which not only leads to increased load but, of course, increases disruption and can have a negative impact on productivity.

Other reasons for using Testifire included – the built in clearing function (10%) and the availability of a high heat setting (3%) for testing detectors set up to 100°C.
