Successful return for Intersec

After a year away, Intersec returned and, despite the uncertainty caused by COVID, was once again a great success.

As one of the industry’s leading trade events, it was great to have Intersec back on the tradeshow calendar and it was even more pleasing to see the show supported by many exhibitors and visitors.  The DT team took up their usual space in Hall 4 and were supported by distribution partners for the Middle East – Novus Fire & Security.

Throughout the three days our stand welcomed in excess of 200 people and hosted numerous meetings with customers and local authorities, it was great to have the support of the FIA and BSIA who led many visitors to our stand and continue to help in the drive to raise standards with regards to compliant testing.

As well as own stand featuring solutions from our SmokeSabre, Solo and Testifire ranges, we also had product present on many other stands including detector manufacturers and regional distributors.  Check out some of the photos from the show in our photo reel below.

The team are now back from the show and following up on all the leads received, thank you to everyone who visited the show and made it a success – it particular those who spent time on our stand sharing their experiences and challenges when it comes to compliant detector testing.

It was interesting to hear how the industry has continued to adapt through the challenges of the last two years and how the desire to promote best practice through the use of new technology remains strong.

It was especially encouraging to experience increased demand for Testifire and hear first hand, the difference it is making to fire engineering companies throughout the Middle East.

With tradeshows back on the agenda our next event will be SICUR in Madrid, where we will be supporting our partner, Ingstrom.
