Solo user, Inthar Safety and Security Systems, are just one of the companies delivering compliant testing and maintenance to the sites they maintain within the UAE. We recently heard from Muhammed Nishad, a project engineer at Inthar, who shared these photos from a recent site visit to a residential building where they had installed Atesis multi-sensor detectors and used products from the Solo range to carryout regular testing.
The UAE is somewhere that has seen increasing emphasis on the importance of regular testing and maintenance. In recent years, several significant fires have attracted worldwide attention and caused fire professionals and those responsible for building management to focus on implementing robust testing and maintenance programmes.
Regular testing, using a solution which is fit for purpose and approved by the detector manufacturer is the only way to know that an installed fire detection system is working correctly and ready to activate in the event of a fire.
With many places in the UAE now ‘go to’ tourism and employment destinations and, with the region playing host to the leading trade event – Intersec, it’s no surprise how fire safety has come into greater focus. It’s great to see the work of companies such as Inthar leading the way with this work and the role our solutions are playing in delivering simple and effective compliant testing.
