Of course at the moment, negotiations are still ongoing between the UK and the EU and any deal has yet to be finalised. During this time it is important to manage expectations and our internal team have been working through various scenarios and the impact of possible changes. Please be assured that we are doing all we can to prepare for the transition when the UK leaves the EU, the actions and plans we have carried out to date, as well as those planned for the future, are with the aim of ensuring minimal disruption to supply – but, until any deal is agreed, it is hard to predict all outcomes.
Some of the key areas under discussion and consideration include; tax and duty, lead times, shipping terms, documentation and product certification. We have information to hand to answer any questions you may have about these topics and have already had discussions with many customers and suppliers.
